WINE TASTING AND VISIT - CHÂTEAU DE PENNAUTIER

In 1710, wines from Pennautier were served at the royal officers’ table in Versailles. The château was handed down from generation to generation.Nicolas and Miren de Lorgeril are the 10th generation of vintners to inherit Pennautier.

During the wine tasting you will be able to taste 5 of the Chateau’s finest wines from the Cabardes appellation, usually 2 whites and 3 reds, where you will be able to discover the different types of grapes used during the fermenting and clarifying process. or Visit of the winery & wine tasting. The influence of the soil and barrels at 12€ per person. Visit the Château de Pennautier’s winery and discover with our experienced sommelier the philosophy behind the Lorgeril’s wine growing. Sample from their selection of 6 prestigious wines which include ‘Terroir d’Altitude” and their ‘ Grands Vins’ how the different barrels influence the flavour and how the different soils in the Cabardes region effect the production. During the week you will also be able to visit the Château’s park.
