A pleasant walk to visit the 4 Castles of Lastours
This one- of-a- kind site in France features four* 14th century royal fortresses built on the Cabardes hills, dominating the charming village of Lastours .

Departure from an old factory for a 2 hours walk on the Cabardes hills
The remains of the medieval village can still be seen on the slopes at the foot of the Castles (Cabaret, Surdespine, Tour régine and Quertinheux are their name ) There are two exhibitions under the high chimney of the factory. '4000 years of history in Lastours' recounts the daily life of villagers through objects discovered during 30 years of archaeological excavations


Good physical condition & walking shoes advised (steep path)
During the summer season we advise to wear a hat and to take a bottle of water with you, and in the Automn/winter seasons a waterproof jacket and warm clothing
